Membership Type Benefits Cost
Full Membership        

(full benefits, unrestricted access)

Benefits of full membership includes unrestricted access to Weightlifting training and fitness classes, fully coached training sessions and opportunity to participate in Weightlifting Tasmania competitions. Seniors
$105 Fortnightly       

Juniors (Under 18)

$85 Fortnightly



Pay as you go You can pay as you go for 10 sessions. If you purchase a 10-pack, you can use for Weightlifting or Fitness Classes $150 for 10 sessions
Casual Membership A casual drop-in session $20
Associate Membership Persons living outside the Hobart area not able to train regularly at the Academy, wanting weekly advice and support, training programs, technique analysis, and coaching at Weightlifting Tasmania competitions.

  • All persons $50 per month includes feedback on 2 videos submitted for analysis and comment per month. Additional video at $10 per video extra.

Kids Program
Sat 9:00-10:00 am
A special exercise program once per week training for children 8-12 years. The exercise program is mainly a wide variety of exercise that may be best described as Physical Education that teaches the participants balance, coordination and agility. Much of the program is without the use of weights.
this class may fluctuate in time from week to week. It is best to enquire about times on Saturday.
