The following courses are available:

Training Program Survey

This course exists purely to collect information about the needs and preferences of athletes in regard to training programs. This information will help to provide an optimal training program format.

Beginning Weightlifting Coaching

To take this course you must be enrolled by the course manager. Email the manager of courses.

A course designed to introduce the learner to the key tasks and responsibilities of the club coach in Weightlifting. There are 18 lessons and at the end of each lesson there is quiz for you to complete before you can move on. The quiz pass mark is 80%. Be sure to click also any buttons at the bottom of the page which say “Mark as completed”.

In the last lesson you will receive 6 training program templates as a bonus for finishing the course. On completion of the course you will be able to print a certificate.

Competition Coaching

This course requires enrolment. Please contact course administrator!

This course is under construction but has TWO lessons ready. The lessons are “Counting the Board” and “The Competitors Card”.

Loading at Events

This course does not require enrolment. You can proceed!

This short course can be completed in a few minutes. It will provide some basic instruction to those who are new to loading at events.

This course is still in development.

State Referee Course

To take this course to become a State Referee you must be enrolled by the course manager. Email the manager of courses. You must also have completed the Club Referee course.

A State Referee is the second level in the referee hierarchy in Weightlifting. Read more.

Club Referee Course

To take this course to become a Club Referee you must be enrolled by the course manager. Email the manager of courses.

A Club Referee is the first level in the referee hierarchy in Weightlifting.  Read more.

Instructor Course

To take this course you must be enrolled by the course manager. Email the manager of courses.

The ‘Instructor’ Course is a first level course that prepares the learner to manage the floor of the gym, supervise the training of athletes in the sport of Weightlifting and provide basic instruction in Weightlifting technique. Read more.

Weightlifting General Knowledge Quiz  (Publicly available quiz)

Some courses are freely accessible but others require enrolment. In some cases, a small fee is required.
